The Shangai Composite Index dropped 66 points or 1.70 percent on Monday to close at 3822 points. Losses were led by Sanan Optoelectron (-6.25%), China Merchants Securities (-2.98%) and Foshan Haitian (-2.65%).
The Shanghai Composite fell 7 points, or 0.17%, to close at 3980. China Coal (-4.94%), Shaanxi Coal (-3.16%) and Poly Real Estate (-1.41%) led declines; Yonghui Superstore rose 6.17% and Shanghai International Port gained 5.70%.
The Shanghai Composite Index drops 20 points, or 0.50%, to close at 3927, with Aluminum Corporation of China, Zijin Mining and Greenland Holdings leading losses.
