Livestock futures traded two-sided ahead of the holiday weekend. October Live Cattle held above prior-week lows for marginal weekly gains, while weekly beef export sales rose 41% week-over-week to 12,900 metric tons.
Live Cattle futures fell on pressure from beef imports and Mexican cattle crossing the border. Feed costs kept the complex near December 2025 levels; feeder cattle trade sideways near nine-month lows, with October down $2.43 to $312.97.
