French manufacturing expands at slower pace in September

France's manufacturing sector expanded for a second consecutive month in September, but the pace of growth slowed compared to August, as new orders declined. The S&P Global France Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) decreased to 50.6 in September from 51.1 in August.
