Erste Group Bank VIE:EBS said on Friday it will launch a tender offer to take another 26% stake in Erste Bank Polska GPW:EBP, up from the 49% it holds currently.The Austrian lender will offer 713 zloty ($185.82) per share for shares in the Poland-listed company.($1 = 3.8370 zlotys)
The bank intends to buy between about 1% and 26% of Erste Bank Polska, lifting its stake above 50% but not beyond 75%. The offer price is expected to be about 713 zlotys a share, subject to PFSA approval and other conditions.
