Spot soybean basis values were mostly steady to weaker in the US Midwest as scattered weekend harvest activity brought fresh supplies to processors. Corn basis bids were steady to stronger, while futures fell after soybeans were excluded from proposed tariff cuts.
CBOT soybean futures settled down 30-3/4 cents at $12.88-1/4 a bushel after soybeans were left off China-US tariff cuts. CBOT corn and wheat also fell as traders tracked Black Sea export talks and broader market pressures.
