Warabeya Nichiyo Holdings: to sell Midwest plant assets, not commence operations
Warabeya Nichiyo Holdings Co Ltd said it has decided not to commence operations at a new plant in the U.S. Midwest due to supply and demand conditions, and will instead prioritize effective use of existing plants. It is currently negotiating the sale of assets related to the plant.
