VW job cuts: around half in Germany, no plant-closure deal
Lower Saxony premier Olaf Lies said around half of Volkswagen’s XETR:VOW 50,000 job cuts will be in Germany. He said there is no agreement on plant closures and stopping production at Emden or Hanover is “unimaginable.”
