U.S. equity funds recorded $32.27 billion of net outflows in the week through Sept. 9, but several large-cap and semiconductor ETFs still drew strong creations on Wednesday. VOO took in $2.99 billion, QQQ $2.73 billion, SPY $1.26 billion, while SOXX and SMH also attracted inflows.
Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) saw $3.28 billion in Thursday’s biggest creation. iShares 0-3 Month Treasury Bond ETF (SGOV) added $1.8 billion and SPDR Gold Trust (GLD) pulled in $1.4 billion, while IVV, SPYM and QQQ posted outflows.
