VB Spine gets FDA breakthrough device designation for scoliosis blood test
The privately held spine company said the FDA granted Breakthrough Device Designation to ScolimiR-3D, a blood test designed to assess progression risk in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. VB Spine said the designation is the first for a predictive diagnostic scoliosis risk assessment test.
