US stocks close higher; Moderna surges, Merck and Marvell gain
US stocks closed higher Wednesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.22%, the S&P 500 up 0.21% and the Nasdaq up 0.16%, while Moderna surged 176% and Merck and Marvell also advanced.
