US new vehicle average transaction price tops $50,000 in August
In August, the U.S. average transaction price (ATP) for new vehicles rose back above $50,000 to $50,089, according to Kelley Blue Book. It was the first time ATP topped $50,000 since December, aided by a richer mix of midsize SUV sales and higher subcompact SUV prices.
