US natgas futures hit one-week high on demand forecasts, pipeline outage
Front-month US gas futures rose 3.1 cents to settle at $3.066 per mmBtu, their highest close since Sept. 25, as demand forecasts increased and output slipped due to a force majeure on Enbridge's Texas Eastern pipeline in Kentucky. The November-December spread also fell to a record low.
