US equity index futures slide on tighter credit and growth worries
US index futures were lower Tuesday: S&P 500 and Dow down 0.5%, while Nasdaq 100 fell more than 1%. Tech dragged after tighter credit conditions, with Marvell, Intel and Sandisk down over 2.5%.
