US Business Activity Cools in October as Demand Fuels Price Pressures
S&P Global said its flash US Composite PMI Output Index showed business activity slowed modestly in October, while robust demand allowed companies to raise prices for goods and services. The report said inflation could rise further and remain persistently high in the coming months.
