UNHCR warns funding gap could leave 8.3 million people without aid
The agency says it faces a $5.789 billion funding gap after donor cuts and has received only 32% of what it required as of July. It warns registration and protection systems in countries including Chad, Sudan and Afghanistan are under severe strain.
