UK gilt volatility flagged ahead of August borrowing data
UK public sector net borrowing figures for August are due for release, with “intense volatility” expected in the gilt market, according to Kathleen Brooks at XTB. Concerns are growing about the rate of UK government borrowing and spending restraint, she said.
