UK Shop Price Inflation Rises to Two-and-a-Half-Year High
BRC-NIQ data showed shop price inflation rising to 2.1% year on year from 1.4% in September, above the three-month average of 1.6%. Food inflation rose to 2.9% from 2.5%, while non-food inflation increased to 1.7% from 0.8%.
