UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals first US QTC for WASKYRA gene therapy
Fondazione Telethon and Orphan Therapies said UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals is the first US Qualified Treatment Center to administer WASKYRA to eligible patients. The therapy was approved by the FDA in December 2025 and is now commercially available in the US.
