UBS CEO Ermotti calls 90% CET1 proposal no compromise
UBS CEO Sergio Ermotti said a proposal requiring the bank to back foreign units with 90% Common Equity Tier 1 capital is not a real compromise, urging Switzerland to pursue a more moderate course. The upper house of parliament is due to vote on Wednesday.
