U.S. stocks fall; Dow drops 400 points as fear rises
U.S. stocks closed lower Tuesday as the CNN Fear and Greed Index slipped to 44.2 from 47.5, entering the fear zone. The Dow fell 419 points, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq also weakened.
