Commerce Department said inventories rose 0.8% month-over-month in July, reaching $2.76 billion, faster than expected.
The company said fiscal 2026 net sales increased 22.8% to $348.9 million and adjusted EBITDA rose 87.1% to $45.6 million. It also completed its acquisition of Marine Products Corporation, adding Chaparral and Robalo brands and realigning reportable segments.
John Wiley & Sons said Q1 Research publishing revenue rose 12%, while Learning revenue fell 20%. The company reiterated full-year guidance for mid-single-digit organic revenue growth, adjusted EPS of $4.60 to $5.05 and free cash flow of $205 million.
Victoria's Secret said Q2 net sales rose 10% year over year, with operating income and EPS above guidance. It raised fiscal 2026 net sales and adjusted net income per diluted share guidance.
Tilly's reported second-quarter net income of $8.4 million, up from $3.2 million a year earlier, while comparable sales rose 12.1% and gross margin improved 300 basis points to 35.5%.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet reported Q2 net sales of $741 million, up 9.1%, with adjusted EPS rising 43% to $1.42. Comparable store sales fell 1.8% as it updated full-year net sales guidance.
