EIA says U.S. ethanol production reached its highest weekly average since the week of July 24, at the high end of Dow Jones survey estimates ranging from 1.082 million to 1.12 million barrels a day.
U.S. ethanol production rose by 25,000 barrels a day last week, averaging 1.118 million barrels a day. Stocks slipped from the prior week, according to EIA data.
