Toyota Tsusho formed a biomethane joint venture in Indonesia with KIS Biofuels Indonesia, established in September 2026. Commercial operations targeted for 2027, upgrading biogas from palm oil mill effluent in South Sumatra into biomethane. Biomethane slated for delivery to West Java customers via state gas utility PGN
