The Nikkei 225 Index Closes 1.85% Higher
The Nikkei 225 Index rose 1193 points or 1.85 percent on Friday to close at 65619 points. Leading the gains are Takara (14.56%), Furukawa (7.21%) and Kawasaki (6.88%).

The Nikkei 225 Index went up by 782 points or 1.12 percent on Tuesday to close at 70729 points. The rise was led by Taiyo Yuden (6.58%), TDK (5.60%) and Fujikura (4.85%).
