Tesla and Sunrun report 580 MW battery peak in California
Tesla (TSLA) and Sunrun (RUN) said more than 140,000 household batteries sent power into California’s grid on Sept. 9. They cited a peak of more than 580 megawatts over a three-hour window as a heat wave boosted demand and wholesale prices.
