TSX Composite Closes at Four-Week High, Up 0.6%
Canada’s S&P/TSX Composite Index rose 217.03 points, or 0.6%, to close at 36,324.99, its highest close in four weeks. Financial shares led gains as investors welcomed government measures to aid sectors hit by U.S. tariffs.
