Levosimendan in PH-HFpEF patients with higher baseline disease burden showed significant clinical and biomarker improvements, especially with lower baseline 6MWD, despite not meeting the primary endpoint overall; safety was acceptable and LEVEL insights guide a refined LEVEL-2 trial.
