TAIEX rises for fifth straight session, electronics lift drives gains
Taiwan’s TAIEX jumped 683 points (1.5%) to 46,812, its highest since July 1. Electronics climbed 1.4% and technology services rose 4.1%, led by MediaTek’s 9.9% surge.
