TAIEX rises 1.8% to 46,949 on tech-led rally
Taiwan’s TAIEX climbed 820 points, or 1.8%, to 46,949 for a fifth straight session, led by electronic technology and technology services. MediaTek surged 9.9% after Nvidia subscribed to USD 3.5 billion of its exchangeable bonds.
