TAIEX rises 1.7% to 11-week high on AI chip demand optimism
Taiwan’s TAIEX rose 775 points, or 1.7%, to close at 47,326 on Monday, extending gains toward its June 22 record high. Electronics led; TSMC added 2.1% and MediaTek surged 8.4%.
