Commodity funds were net buyers of CBOT wheat and soyoil futures on Oct. 5, according to traders, with net buying of wheat at 3,500 contracts and soyoil at 1,500 contracts. Funds were net sellers of corn, soymeal and corn futures.
Reuters-reported estimates show net buying by commodity funds on September 29 for soybeans and wheat, with changes versus prior sessions for corn, soymeal and soyoil.
Commodity funds were net buyers of Chicago Board of Trade grain futures contracts on Sept. 21, purchasing 30,500 corn contracts, 13,000 soybean contracts, 5,500 wheat contracts, 8,500 soymeal contracts and 3,000 soyoil contracts, according to estimates from traders.
