South32 Copper Output Rises 2% in First Quarter, Slightly Misses Estimates
South32 said first-quarter copper production rose 2%, aided by mining ore with higher copper content as planned, but came in slightly below market expectations. Copper accounted for more than half of the miner's portfolio excluding aluminium.
