Shares of health insurance companies are trading higher the U.S. CMS awarded five- and four-star ratings to plans offered by UnitedHealth Group, Clover, and Humana among others. Also, Humana reaffirmed its FY26 adjusted EPS guidance and issued optimistic comments about FY27 and FY28.

Humana, Clover rise on Medicare Advantage ratings

Humana’s key Medicare Advantage contract was raised to four stars from 3.5 stars, while Clover’s PPO plans got a five-star rating and its HMO plan got 4.5 stars. CVS Health and Alignment Healthcare fell after CMS trimmed some of their ratings.
