ScottishPower to launch 12-month drone and AI pilot for power line inspections in Cumbria
SP Electricity North West will launch a 12-month drone and AI pilot starting in November under the VOLT project in Cumbria, funded by Ofgem’s Network Innovation Allowance, to speed fault detection and improve storm response, repair prioritisation and field safety.
