SEC proposes updated transfer agent rules for blockchain and tokenization
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission proposed changes to its transfer agent rules, saying they have not been significantly updated since the rules’ earlier era and need to keep pace with new technology, including blockchain and tokenization.
