Russia to cut welfare, education and healthcare funding in 2027 draft budget
Fiscal documents show Russia plans lower 2027 spending on welfare, education, healthcare and national economy items to help cover higher military outlays. Defence spending is listed at 17.1 trillion roubles in 2027, up around 27% from the initial plan.
