Rubio meets S Korea, Japan allies before Trump-Xi summit
Rubio met his counterparts from South Korea and Japan in New York on Monday ahead of summits between US President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. Allies are anxious Trump may offer concessions to Xi on issues including Taiwan and trade in return for an economic win with Beijing.
