Qatar fiscal deficit seen widening as LNG revenue shock weighs
Standard Chartered says Qatar’s fiscal deficit risks widening beyond its 5% of GDP forecast for 2026. The Q2 deficit widened to $5.8 billion from $0.2 billion a year earlier as government revenue fell 57% on LNG export constraints.
