Novo Nordisk Wegovy pill study shows 4.1% weight loss after switching
A 194-patient real-world study presented at a diabetes meeting found patients who switched from injectable obesity drugs to oral semaglutide lost an average 4.1% of body weight in three months. Novo said the data support the Wegovy pill as it competes with Eli Lilly in oral obesity treatments.
