Northern Trust Approves New $3.5 Billion Buyback Authorization
Northern Trust approved a new common-stock repurchase authorization of up to $3.5 billion, effective after its existing $2.5 billion program is completed. It also declared quarterly dividends of $0.88 per common share and $0.29375 per preferred depository share, payable Jan. 1, 2027.
