Northern Star rejects Gold Fields' A$38.7 billion takeover bid
Northern Star said Gold Fields' unsolicited offer valued the Australian miner at A$38.7 billion and implied A$27.00 per share on September 14. The company said the revised A$25.19 per share consideration and deal conditions undervalued its portfolio and carried higher jurisdictional risk.
