Norfolk Southern says 500+ customers back proposed Union Pacific merger
Norfolk Southern said more than 500 customers and stakeholders have filed support for its proposed combination with Union Pacific, citing service and growth benefits. The deal remains subject to STB review, with closing expected in Q3 or Q4 2027.
