The Nikkei 225 fell 170 points, or 0.26%, on Thursday to close at 64,973. Declines were led by Mitsui Kinzoku (-6.18%), Japan Steel Works (-6.04%) and Nintendo Co (-5.32%), while Sharp Corp rose 5.40%.
