Nasdaq short interest rises 2.4% to 22.585 billion shares at August 31
Nasdaq short interest rose 2.4% in late August, the exchange said on Thursday. As of August 31, short interest increased to about 22.585 billion shares from 22.048 billion shares as of August 14.
