NHC: Developing tropical system south of Mexico
Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad area of low pressure located offshore of southern Mexico are becoming better organized and are expected to become a tropical depression within a day or so. Heavy rainfall is forecast across portions of southern and southwestern Mexico through this week.
