Mavis Acquires Midas, Dominating $211 Billion Car Repair Market
Suburban New York tire retailer Mavis has acquired Midas, the best-known name in auto repairs, in its biggest deal to date. The combined entity will become the largest auto-repair chain in the country with approximately 4,400 stores.
