Mattel said board member Roger Lynch will replace Ynon Kreiz, who is leaving for a senior leadership role at another public company.
Lynch is Mattel's independent lead director and will assume chairman duties Oct. 2, 2026. CEO duties are due on or before Nov. 2, 2026, as Ynon Kreiz steps down and takes a senior leadership role at another public company.
