Kospi up 1% as Asian chip shares extend gains; SOX higher
Asian chip shares extended gains on sustained AI trade interest. South Korea’s Kospi rose 1%, helped by gains in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix after the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose in New York.
