KOSPI closed down 0.27% at 6,870.81; foreigners net sold 2.9 trillion won and the won strengthened. Three-year and 10-year yields fell.
Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix rose, while most other heavyweights fell. Foreigners were net sellers, the won weakened and the 10-year Korean treasury yield slipped to 4.522%.
