Kobelco became the first steelmaker to sign onto the Blue Visby maritime emissions-reduction initiative, targeting Scope 3 CO2 cuts via optimized arrival scheduling to reduce port-related vessel waiting times. Verification estimates the Blue Visby Solution can cut maritime GHG emissions by about 15%.
